Come join Ridges & Rivers and the Friends of the McIntosh Memorial Library for Breakfast and Book Sale on Saturday, September 26th, 7:00-11:00 a.m. at the Viroqua Eagles Club at 216 S Rock Ave. Open to all, this fundraiser cost is $10 for adults and $5 for kids, cash or check. Come eat, read, and learn how to support a good cause!

Due to a major changeover in the Ridges & Rivers Book Festival board, we were unable to pull together a complete festival for the spring of 2026. This does not, however, mean we haven’t been busy planning other activities which still promote books and reading. On April 24, 2026, we are sponsoring Angie Thomas, author of “The Hate U Give” and other young adult novels, for the MacIntosh Memorial Library’s “Books Unbanned: Freedom to Read” event at the Westby Performing Arts Center. This will be a unique opportunity to engage with authors and discuss the role literature plays in society. For more information, please visit the McIntosh Memorial Library website.
