Do you love to read? Maybe you’re drawn to writing.
Are you a maker of art? Or a Comic Con fan?
You’re in luck because we are cooking up a festival for everyone – yes, you!
Celebrate reading, writing, creativity, and community on April 28–30, 2023, in Viroqua, Wisconsin. Brought to you by the Driftless Writing Center and the McIntosh Memorial Library, we have something fun planned for everyone. Here is a small taste:
• Friday, we welcome Dasha Kelly Hamilton with her one-woman show “Makin’ Cake”. And yes, there will be cake.
• Saturday, we have events planned for children of all ages, from readings to Comic-Con and more. There will be plenty of authors, workshops, and activities for adults as well. And Viroqua’s renowned Lion Burgers for lunch!
• Sunday, we’ll enjoy pancakes and poetry. Begin with breakfast, end with a Celebration of Poetry.
If you love reading or writing, you won’t want to miss this event. All of the festival events except the writing workshops are free.
